Ongoing Clients - examples of current and recent work

F2P is currently working on a number of projects:

  1. Glythera is a young biopharmaceutical company applying a broad range of proprietary platforms to improve the product homogeneity and storage and PK profiles of biologics including full length recombinant proteins and peptides. Formed in 2008 with backing from the IP Group and being based on technology arising from the University of Bath (Drs Andy Watts and Amanda MacKenzie) the company has already secured one major collaboration with a large European Biotech.

Applications include improvements on existing Pegylated proteins such as PEG-interferons and PEG-G-CSF’s as well as to antibody and antibody fragments. Simon Youlton works on a retained part time basis providing Business Development Management skills and reporting directly to the Board.

For more information visit www.Glythera.com or download their corporate presentation.
  2. OncoBiomarkers is a company in gestation based on proprietary biomarkers for oncology and the delivery of accredited tests to the clinical community as well as working with pharmaceutical companies to identify and qualify biomarkers used as potential companion diagnostics.

The company is based on assets to be spun out of the University of Liverpool, including access to a large annotated Biobank of cancer biopsies with patient histories. Simon is responsible for bringing together a viable business plan for funding and networking with University research groups to leverage the best value in their IP assets and formulate a fast-track development program.
