Technology and Commercial Due Diligence
Due Diligence for Investors
P2F is happy to quote for short term contracts to provide due diligence
reports on:
- The market and competition for proposed new product entries
- The technology and freedom to operate issues arising from its
use.
For technology reports Simon Youlton himself has considerable (ten
years) experience of the oncology field for drugs, diagnostics and
devices having spent such time in the office of the worlds largest
independent private foundation for funding cancer research and serving
on many technology evaluation and translational award committees.
He may also make use of his wide network of colleagues in technology
transfer, and basic and clinical research in cancer institutes across
Europe where Simon has conducted business and managed projects in
the past. These include the Netherlands Cancer Institute, The Deutsches
Krebsforchungszentrum (the German Cancer Research Center); IFOM/IEO
in Italy, the Danish Cancer Centre, PRBB and CRG Barcelona, University
of Barcelona, and numerous other Universities across Europe. Simon
also did the ground work for setting up the first trans-Atlantic
business for CRT and set up the CRT Inc Boston office, so is familiar
with institutes on the East Coast in oncology.
Simon has served on many start-up Boards and has been trained in
various valuation models and can use the tools of basic financial
management.
In other areas, P2F may well recruit expertise form selected individuals
from the scientific community and from industry/tech transfer/other
consultants who have the relevant market/scientific expertise.
Simon already acts in a Business Development Capacity for a biologics
start-up but is available for similar part time work for other young
start-ups within your investment portfolio.
