| With the worldwide economic downturn it is no surprise
that there is a headcount freeze at public and private employers
alike and the pharmaceutical industry has already started to reduce
overheads and headcount.
With this in mind there is a continued demand from both the public
and private sector to maintain access to key skills and expertise
without increasing head count and to address this dichotomy, many
organisations are now calling on temporary assignments of workloads
and projects to outside contractors.
P2F acts as a conduit by which expertise can be sourced and work
passed on though contracts with P2F. We receive requests for project
due diligence involving both scientific and a commercial due diligence.
This may also include clinical and disease management expertise.
Sometimes this is for pharma/biotech looking to evaluate possible
technologies for in-licensing; sometimes this is from internal University
technology transfer offices looking to evaluate their home-grown
technologies with a view to decisions on patenting and licensing
valuations; and sometimes this is from institutional/venture capital
investors looking to carry out due diligence on some technology
offering.
By submitting your contact details and stating your areas of expertise,
current job function and qualifications, we will hold your details
on file and contact you should a client need such expertise in the
future. P2F will pay for such work on a case by case basis.
